Why the Grace School of Theology?
Students have many choices when it comes to a seminary. Choices that are, for the most part, very good and able to further the educational goals of the student.
The Grace School of Theology is special. Why is that? For the following reasons:
- The Foundation: We are led and driven by the scriptures and not by the whims of man or culture. Our faculty, staff, and students desire to live in accordance with the scripture and not the world.
- FREEGrace: While this is the name of our educational programs, it is also the perspective we are defined by. We are about the teaching and living of the free grace we have received through Jesus Christ.
- clearTRUTH: This defines our approach to teaching, mentoring, and living. We work hard to make sure that our students hear the clear truth of the scriptures, understand its meaning and relevance, and how to apply into their lives and ministries.
- Curriculum: From Enrichment-oriented courses through to Doctorate degrees, the Grace School of Theology offers you the flexibility to grow in your education and understanding of the scriptures — at your pace.
- Flexibility: We give you the option of attending classes in person or via our online offering.
- Staff & Faculty: Each one is highly trained in the scriptures, teaching, and ministry methods. Every faculty or staff member is a resource for you while you are a student and after graduation.
- Mentoring: Every student is mentored. Each is assigned a faculty member who will work with them through their educational career at the Grace School of Theology; while, also, providing opportunity for networking and putting their education into practice.
But, where are we really different?
- In God's Presence: Grace School of Theology will provide training and faculty mentoring designed to encourage you to grow in God's grace.
- In Difficult Challenges: Grace School of Theology will equip you to accurately interpret, understand and apply God's word.
- In a Changing World: Grace School of Theology will provide you with a foundation for a consistent system of theology to help you think biblically.
- In the Local Church: Grace School of Theology will help you develop ministry skills modeled and taught by practitioners who have proven effective in ministry.
- In Houston and Texas: Grace School of Theology is a non-denominational evangelical school with a local faculty based in greater Houston, the nation's fourth largest city.
